Vocation Discernment Opportunities

 

To help you discern whether God is calling you to religious life and our Congregation, we provide the following opportunities. We hope you will be able to join us!

• "Come and See": The focus of the retreat is the living of our baptismal commitment in the different states of life. Much emphasis is given to religious life. Begins on a Friday at 7:00 PM and ends on Sunday at 12:00 noon.
  

   

• "Come and Follow": Days of retreat to provide a variety of experiences to assist women in the initial stages of their discernment of a religious vocation. They are held on the last Saturday of every other month, from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM. There is a different theme for each month:

  • Call and Gift
  • Trust
  • Community
  • Prayer
  • Stillness

"Deeper Waters:"

For women who are seriously discerning their vocation to religious life. There are four key components to this process:

• Regular contact with a local community - visit the community at least once a month to share the sisters' prayer, life, and ministry.

• Some level of involvement with the Church/pastoral experience

• Individual accompaniment with a designated person for vocation discernment.

• Four retreats with the following themes:

  • Salvation History
  • Jesus/Covenant
  • Marie Poussepin and the Congregation

  • Commitment
